Nikki Commander Hair Stylist
Hi My name is Nikki Commander and I fell in love with hair at the tender age of 9. Growing up I would watch my mom with her clients and every time she was finished it was a little celebration. In those moments I knew I wanted to be apart of making someone feel as beautiful and confident as she did. Hair became my passion and by the age of 11 I was known as the little girl who could braid. Fast forward years later I discovered locs and the versatility they offered. I was intrigued and immediately began looking up how to videos to perfect my new found love. I didn’t have one client with locs so I would approach random people asking if I could do their hair and would get the craziest looks lol. However, When passion meets purpose the possibilities are endless and I’m here today specializing in braids and locs. Although that’s my specialty I also offer other services such as blowouts, extensions, cuts and color.
Tanisha Hall Hair Stylist
Hello I have been in the industry for Over 25 years, and loving every minute of it. It started in high school
in 1993 I decided to test for the cosmetology program. I was accepted and the journey began by the
time I graduated Eau Claire high school I had my cosmetology license.
First starting in the industry was not easy but in the end it is a very rewarding a profession I have three
children that I had early in my cosmetology career which led me to an office position for about 14 years
still pursuing my lifelong dream part-time. Even between being a wife and a mother the passion still
burned to become a successful stylist and educator.
In 2009 I decided to take the methods of teaching course it was everything I thought it would be and
more. It was It was only After completing the course realizing adult education was not for me at that
time. And 2014 I was encouraged to give it my all and I left the corporate world and never looked back.
This is when sheer destiny was born!! Eight years later I decided to go ahead and become a cosmetology
instructor at Kenneth shuler school of cosmetology while in my spare time a still have the pleasure of
servicing my clients!
And my motto is you never stop learning!

My Name is Iesha, and Hair is my passion! I started as a young girl being motivated to do my own hair when my mom didn't have time to or couldn't achieve the style I wanted. I started to become interested in my own appearance and beauty. At that moment I then wanted to build confidence in those around me which turned into my now career. Specializing in Braiding but also not limited offering other services such as blowouts, cutting, twist, loc and more. I aspire to service as many people I can becoming a mater traveling stylist.

Meet The Esthetician
Kierra K. Tucker Jackson, CPht, LE
A proud graduate of C.A. Johnson Preparatory Academy and native to Columbia, South Carolina she began her studies at South University majoring Criminal Justice. In 2017 she graduated from South Eastern Institute with an associate’s in pharmacology. After spending five years in pharmaceuticals she decided to change career path and take on something she was passionate about, helping others achieve their inner beauty.
In 2021 she graduated from South Eastern Esthetics Institute under the direction of Courtney Sykes. During her time is school Kierra was a dedicated brand ambassador and top of her class. After graduating from esthetics school she found her home at Flawless by T.K where she’s currently a clinical esthetician providing all services concerning the skin and makeup applications. It is her goal to continue to serve the Columbia area as well as touching the lives of her clients in anyway that she can. Her motto is “Let’s glow together “ because she believes that we all have a light worth shining!
Her most precious accomplishments include her five children, The C.A. Johnson Alumni association where she serves as a member, The SEEI Alumni Association and The National Board of Pharmacy Technicians Association.
Takesha Kellie Salon Owner Hair Stylist
Growing up here in the heart of Columbia SC watching my mother do hair gave me the inspiration to do hair for a living. Never in my wildest dream did I think I would be a salon owner. Being in the business for over 15 years gave me plenty of skills and lessons to perfect my craft. Specializing in hair coloring, silk pressing/Blowouts along with soft styles servicing all hair types. As Much passion that I have for the love of hair I still manage to juggle home raising my beautiful 3 babies with my significant other. With the love and support from them I am able to thrive and be great giving my clients the attention that is needed. Graduating high school with my cosmetology license in 2007 was one of the most greatest decision that I've made in my life. I have an obsession with hair and I believe that is what motivates me the most to continue to share my creativity.

Deshana , owner of Dolled By Deshana LLC Born and raised in Columbia SC, Started doing hair at a very young age. As I got older Hair became a passion of mine and it drove me to become more educated in the industry. I became a graduate of Paul Mitchell in October 2022. Though I've only been licensed for a short while my work has reached across the city making a difference in this industry. Although most of the services I offer are Wig installation, Loc Maintenance and repair, Braids with/Without extensions I also desire for natural hair care, hair color and cuts plus many more. I enjoy educating my clients throughout their service but most of all I love making their day!
